Implemented Developed the Fusion and Analytical Center Incident Reporting System that allows Louisiana law enforcement, and other communities of interest, to report incident data. The Incident reporting system is an ASP.NET 2.0 web based application that is accessible to Fusion and Analytical Center personnel. Implemented the graphical user interface using CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, and Master Pages. Designed a unique workflow algorithm in C# that allows case information to be collected, evaluated, and disseminated across multiple agencies. Worked with team members to build the underlying data layer and data base schema, where case information is aggregated to a secure SQL Server 2005 database. Created a web based dashboard for the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP). The dashboard is a custom utility that assists personnel with monitoring emergency related information in one central location. The dashboard incorporates the use of the Document Object Model and JavaScript to allow for a seamless integration of internal and external information. The system uses C# to dynamically populate the dashboard with relevant emergency related information, and connect with some of the internal XML data.
McKesson APS: Associate Software Engineer Baton Rouge, LA April 2003 – April 2005 HIPAA Security Compliance
Analyzed, designed, and coded company software to meet Federal HIPAA-DITSCAP compliance for thousands of large-scale pharmacies. Implemented OS level security authentication, including application login and database modifications, without interruption of overall operation. The application uses Visual Basic to securely pass user credentials using the Windows Security Support Provider Interface and Kerberos APIs. Designed, developed and implemented a custom automation utility that assists pharmacists in their daily activity. This tool was created to work with Pharmacy 2000 , which is used by thousands pharmacies across the US. The Accumed Link establishes a rapid process for filling prescriptions, allowing the pharmacy staff to work efficiently. This tool was created using Visual Basic and SQL Server 2000, and communicates with other layers of the system using Winsock and 3rd party APIs.
